Rain City Drive Unveils Dance-Worthy Single, "Medicate Me"

On April 26, 2024, Rain City Drive released their single “Medicate Me” featuring the vocalist of Dayseeker, Rory Rodriguez.

Since the release, the dance-worthy track has been living on the TikTok “For You” pages of metalcore and alternative rock fans.

The song is a little different than other releases from Rain City Drive, with such a groovy EDM feeling in the beginning that makes you feel as if you should be dancing. As the song progresses towards the middle, it melds into a groovy, hard rock sound that the group is undoubtedly known for.

Rodriguez’s feature on the track is perfect as his voice fits so well not only with the band, but on the groove of this track. He provides flawless harmonies to the arrangement as well. Upon first listening to the track, you will find yourself with goosebumps up your arms as Rain City Drive takes you along for an out of body experience.

Rain City Drive is currently on tour supporting Dayseeker in the US until May 25th, and will be heading overseas with the group in the winter through November and December!
